Selecting the disk driver

Selecting the IDE CD-ROM Controller driver

No special operations are required as the driver contained on the
CD-ROM of the Windows 2000 Server is used.

Selecting a driver for the RAID controller

Only when the RAID controller is connected, follow the
procedure mentioned below.

1 When the Windows 2000 Server Setup screen appears and

"Press F6..." is displayed in the lower left hand corner of the
screen, press the F6 key.

2 When a message appears on the screen, asking whether you

want to add a device driver for mass storage device, press the
<S> key.

3 Insert the Windows 2000 driver floppy disk of RAID control-

ler, which comes with your RAID controller, in the floppy disk
drive, and then press the <Enter> key.

4 When the list of drivers appears, select the driver for each

RAID Controller, according to the following procedure.

5 For RAID Controller MR520, select “MegaRAID SCSI 320-1

Controller Driver” and then press the <Enter> key.

6 For RAID controller MR518, select “MegaRAID SCSI 320-2

Controller Driver”, and then press the <Enter> key.

After this, continue to install Windows 2000, following the
instructions that appears on the screen.
