1. Install Orbit Toddler Car Seat Braces,

Forward-Facing: See pages 62-63.

2. If you will be attaching the Tether later

(refer to page 72), open the Rear Access
Panel and unclip the Tether Hook from
the secured ring (Photo M). Pull it all
the way out and secure the Rear Access
Panel with the black back clip.

3. Position the Toddler Car Seat Forward-

Facing on the vehicle seat. The seat, as
well as the FRONT OF VEHICLE arrow
on the Braces, should face front. If
using the Top Tether, drape it over the
back of the vehicle seat to use later.

4. Unbuckle the Restraint Harness. Open

the Upper Upholstery Panel marked by
the Red Dot (Photo N). You can keep
it out of the way by wedging it into the
sides of the Upholstery.

5. Open both arms of the red Belt Lock-

Installation with Braces &
Lap Style Seat Belts
(without Orbit Base)

Off Clamp closest to the center of the
vehicle (Photo P).

6. Position the belt through the Forward-

Facing Belt Path in the shell and the
open Red Belt Lock-Off Clamp (Photo
P). Two round magnets on the shell help
keep the seat belt’s tongue in place for
convenience. Buckle the seat belt.

7. Push down on the carseat and pull

upwards on the free end of the lap belt
to tighten it around the Toddler Car Seat
(Photo Q).

8. When tight, push down both arms of the

open Belt Lock-Off Clamp fi rmly until
they lock (Photo R) (Listen for a CLICK).

9. CHECK that the installation is secure by

tugging on the Toddler Car Seat near
the belt path. The Toddler Car Seat
should not move more than 1 inch in any
direction. If it is loose, push down on the
seat and tighten the seat belt. If it is still
loose, remove and re-install.

10.Close the Upper Upholstery Panel and

install the Top Tether: See pages 72-73.
