Note: The inputs from this table are used by the ECU if “Alpha N” was the control algorithm

selected during the Main Configuration set up. If the “Speed Density” the control algorithm
was selected, the ECU ignores inputs from this table.

 Note: Before saving the Log Window dash for the first time, you need to navigate to the C:

Program Files/BigStuff/BigComm directory. This step only occurs the very first time any
Dash file is saved. Subsequent Dash file saves will automatically be saved to the C: Program
Files/BigStuff/BigComm folder.

Note: The Dash for the Log Window needs to be configured so that all of the logged data is

captured and displayed in the Dash at the bottom of the Log window.

 Note: The Replay file must be downloaded from the GEN3 ECU to a PC within thirty (30)

minutes from when the ignition switch is turned off. After thirty (30) minutes the “Replay”
data will be lost.

Note: If the GEN3 main wire harness, positive battery lead, is connected to the battery cut-off
switch (strongly recommended), and the switch is turned “OFF” before the Replay data is
uploaded, the data will be lost

.

 Note: The Scaled RPM (Scld_RPM) and Scaled Load (Scld_Load) signals must be logged in

order to support the “Trace” function.

Note: See

Saving_On_Line_Calibration_Changes

to ensure calibration changes made

“On-Line” are properly saved.

Notes:

o

The ECU stays alive for thirty (30) minutes after vehicle ignition is off to allow for DAI

uploads from the GEN3 ECU to a PC.

o

The ECU cannot be programmed when the vehicle ignition is off.

o

The Flash memory is only updated when calibrations changes are made.

Note: The GEN3 ECU must be powered ON to load a calibration file into it.
