Two (2) Thirty (30)-Way ECU Header Connectors

To avoid the potential of severely damaging the ECU,

connect the

head connectors to the ECU only after the battery connections
are made

. The two 30-way MWH header connectors are keyed

such that they will only fit in only one (1) of the two (2) ECU
mating-half connectors. To fasten the MWH connectors to the
ECU, use a 1/4-nut driver. Make sure the header connectors, on all
the harnesses, are tightened to 15 – 20 in lbs. Do not over-tighten

the header connectors!! Connect header connector A through K first, the L through Y.

5. Injector Harness Installation – (Black, 10-way Packard
Connector)

Once the main harness is installed and all the connections to it are made, the injector harness can be
installed and connected to the main harness. Each injector connector (on the injector wire harness) is
marked for the cylinder it needs to be attached to. There are specific injector wire harnesses for Chevy
(Chrysler), Ford and Buick V6 engines. The firing order is configured within the GEN3 ECU!
