Soft Start
This is the most common method of starting. The initial torque value
is set between 0–70% of locked rotor torque. The motor voltage is
steplessly increased during the acceleration ramp period, which is
adjustable from 2–30 seconds.

Current Limit Start
This starting mode is used when it is necessary to limit the maximum
starting current. This can be adjusted from 25 to 550% of full load
amperes. The current limit starting time is customer set. If the motor
is not up to speed after the selected time, the motor will transition to
full voltage
