To get more natural sound reproduction
Press (•) SRS (Sound Retrieval System).
Each time you press SRS, “SRS [AUTO]“. “SRS [STEREO]“
or “SRS OFF” is selected in sequence.
In the SRS [AUTO] mode, the TV uses the SRS for stereo and
for monaural according to the transferred signal mode.
In the SRS [STEREO] mode, the TV uses the SRS functions
only when the stereo signal is transferred.
To receive a Multichannel TV sound program
Press MENU and select “AUDIO”.
And select the MTS mode. For details, see page 34.
To mute the sound
Press MUTING.
The “MUTING” indication will appear on the screen.
To restore the sound, press MUTING again or VOL .
Picture
To select the picture
Press ASC (Active Signal Correction).
Each time you press ASC, “ASC”. “ASC THEATRE” or
“ASC OFF” is selected in sequence.
In the ASC mode, you can watch the more vivid picture.
In the ASC THEATRE mode, you can watch the nK>re
optimum picture. So you can watch the TV more comfortably
for a long time. For example, you can use this mode when
you watch TV in a darkened room.
