the supplied Remote Commander without set­
ting the Sony.

Operating Sony Video Equipment
With the supplied Remote Commander, you can operate Sony video cassette
recorders (Beta, 8mm VMS) and video disc players Oncluding multi disc player)
without programming.
1 Set the CABLE/VIDEO selector to VIDEO.

Operating a Video cassette recorder

This function is effective only for CAV (standard-play
disc). With CLV (extended-play disc), the video disc
player will go into the standby mode if II is pressed.
