Besides the main picture, you can watch another TV channel (Including CATV) or a
video source simultaneously In a window picture.
You can enjoy the convenance of the “plcture^n-plcture" function when there are
two TV channels you want to watch at the same time or when you want to monitor
your VCR while watching TV, etc.
To display a TV program in a window
Press PIP.

The window picture in the last mode you watched wHI appear. Each time PIP is pressed, a
1/4-slze or 1/d-slze window picture will appear altemah^.
Notes
To make the window picture disappear
Press OFF.
To scan programs in the window picture
Press CH +f- inthepicture-in-picturearea.
Notes on the window picture
• In the window picture, the VIDEO LABEL and
CHANNEL CAPTION will not appear even if
you have set them.
• If a window picture is blocked, the “B” indica­
tion wili appear on the window screen. (See
page 56.)
To hear the sound for the window picture
Press AUDIO.
To hear the sound for the maJn picture, press AUDIO again.
• The sound of the window picture is also output from the VARIABLE AUDIO
OUT.
(The MONITOR OUT outputs the sound of the main picture only.)
• The sound for the window picture is monaural when you use the RFU output.
• When you press AUDIO, the “ ” indication appears and you can know the
sound comes from which.
To swap the main and the window pictures
Press SWAP.
