Assign Patients page

Locations where tone silenced and vibration
stopped when Suspend button tapped at mobile
devices running Clinician Notifier

At all respondent devices, the Acuity Central Station, hallway
message panels and the patient monitor

Suspension period after tapping Suspend button

Patient alarms that interrupt a 90-second suspend
period

Lethal arrhythmia alarms (VTACH, ASYS and VFIB) and apnea
alarms

Behavior when Busy button is tapped

Only at the respondent device where Busy was tapped, tone and/
or vibration are silenced and the alarm popup is closed.

If all recipients of the alarm tap Busy, the alarm immediately goes
to devices that accept secondary notification. If all of those
recipients tap Busy, the alarm is immediately broadcast to all
devices in the unit.

If the patient is still in the alarm condition 90 seconds after a
clinician taps Suspend, alarm notification returns to the original
recipients.

Default: alarm is rebroadcast
