Setting the day/night mode
You may wish to use the unit as a telephone and facsimile
{TEL/FAX
mode) during the business hours and
switch to the answering device
{ANS/FAX
mode) during off hours.
With this feature on, the unit will automatically switch the receiving mode at a preprogrammed time without
the operator’s assistance.

Press MENU.
1.SYSTEM SET UP
Press #32.
DAY/NIGHT MODE
Press START/SET.
MODE=OFF
[ A T ]
Press A or ▼ to select
“ON”.
MODE=ON
[ A T
—If this feature is not
required, select “OFF”.
Press START/SET to
store the selection.
DAY MODE TIME
Press START/SET.
=12:00 AM

Enter the time at which
the day mode
{TEL/FAX
mode) starts.
Example:
The
TEUFAX
mode
starts at 9:00AM.
Press 0900, then press
* to select AM.
=09:00 AM
Press START/SET.
NIGHT MODE TIME
Press START/SET.
=12:00 AM
Enter the time at which
the night mode
{ANS/FAX
mode) starts.
Example:
The
ANS/FAX mode
starts at 5:00PM.
Press 0500, then press #
to select PM.
=05:00 PM
Press START/SET to
store the setting.
Press MENU to end the
program.
Note:
• If you select another receiving mode manually when this feature is on, the unit will keep the receiving
mode that you select until either day or night mode starts.
