Al TIMER operation
The Al TIMER function can be used additionally to the time
setting made with the program timer. It is aiso possible to use
Al TIMER 1 and Al TIMER 2 simultaneously.
Gradual increase of volume (Al TIMER 1)
With this function, the volume increases gradualiy when the
power is turned ON by the program timer.
Preparations
• Set a timer program.
• Turn the power OFF.
Press the Al TIMER 1 key.

Playing CD then receiving radio (Al TIMER 2)
With this function, when the power is turned ON by thetimer,
two CD tracks are played first then the last radio station
which was received before is received automatically.
Al TIMER 2 is executed in priority over other program timer.
Preparations
• Place a disc on the Plus-1 tray of the
CD player. .?
• Set the program timer so that a radio |
station can be received. |
Press the Al TIMER 2 key.

• The equalizer curve also changes.
Select the maximum volume. It changes every time the key is pressed.

• If the volume is adjusted with the remote control unit or thé graphic
equalizer is operated during operation of Al TIMER 1, the volume is
fixed at that moment.
To cancel Al TIMER 1
Press the Al TIMER 1 key to select "Rl I OFF " and turn the indicator

• If the input is changed or an operation key of the CD player is
pressed during CD playback started by Al TIMER 2, the CD playback
ends and Al TIMER 2 is cancelled.
• If the CD has no been placed, radio station will be received from the ^
moment the power is turned ON.
To cancel Al TIMER 2
Press the
Al TIMER 2
key to turn the indicator off.
1. The Al TIMER 1 and 2 indicators remain lit even after the program timer operation. When the functions of Al TIMER is not required, be
sure to switch the indicators off.
2. The Al TIMER does not function with timer recording.
