Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Solution
Camera will not
operate Power is not turned on zTurn on the camera.

cover or battery cover is
securely closed.
Insufficient battery

terminals z Wipe the terminals with a
clean, dry cloth.
Camera will not
record Camera is in playback

mode.

interface cable before
switching the camera to
shooting mode.
Flash is charging

z If required, download the
images to a computer and
erase them from the CF card to
make space.
CF card not formatted
