3. Configuration

The SKQ 40-00 / 80-00 is programmed via a password-protected web interface displayed in a web browser.
This enables programming and, if required, remote maintenance via the Internet. Thus access to any
installation worldwide is possible from any location.

The start and initialization page can be used for monitoring purposes. These pages show the bit error rate and
the fill level of the modulators.

Accessing the configuration interface

Note: Always use the latest version of your web browser!

Default IP address of the SKQ 40-00:

192.168.0.145

Default IP address of the SKQ 80-00, left side:

192.168.0.145

Default IP address of the SKQ 80-00, right side:

192.168.0.146

Subnet mask:

255.255.255.0.

The SKQ 80-00 features two separate units that each have four tuners, four modulators and one HF output.
Each unit must be assigned its own IP address.

 Change the IP address of your PC/laptop, e.g. to 192.168.0.11:

Control panel > Network connections > LAN connection >Properties >

Internet protocol version 4 TCP/IPv4 > Properties > Use the following IP address:

 Click OK to save.
 Connect the SKQ x0-00 to the PC/laptop using a LAN patch cord.
 Now switch on the operating voltage for the module.
 Now enter the IP address 192.168.0.145 in the web browser.
