Initialization phase 3

In phase 3, the modulators are configured.

The output channels are compulsory assigned to adjacent channels.

The output channel and fine tuning can only be set for modulator 1. Additional settings options available for all
modulators are the Constellation from QAM 32- QAM 256, the Symbol Rate up to 7500 and the Output Level.
The settings are separate for each of the four modulators. The max. output level of approx. 105 dBμV is
reached with an Output Level setting of 20 dB. The Output Level options include attenuation and deactivation
of the modulator. The filling level depends on the activated programs in the program table of the menu entry in
phase 2. The fill level should not exceed 95%. If the fill level exceeds this value, image interference in the TV
device may occur. The error LEDs on the front panel will light up red in this case. If the CROSS MULTIPLEX
MODE is active, it must be ensured that the maximum number of activated programs in one modulator is not
exceeded.

The program table Selected Programs shows the programs that were activated in phase 2 and that have been
selected in the Cross Multiplex.
