Initialization phase 2

3.4.1.

Network and transport stream ID

In phase 2, a new network ID (network identification) for the device and a new TS ID (transport stream
identification) for the modulators can be assigned.

The network ID and TS ID are set to auto by default. In this setting, the IDs from the set satellite transponder
are used and forwarded to the modulators with virtually no changes.

If the network ID is manually set (e.g. to 1), the TS IDs will automatically change from auto to 1-4. If multiple
SKQ 40-/80-00 are used in one SKS xx-xx, the network ID of each module unit must be continuously numbered.
Changed settings must be confirmed with SAVE CHANGES.

If the network ID is set manually, special settings are activated. The REMUX MODE changes to CROSS
MULTIPLEX MODE. This mode enables creating individual program packages from tuner 1-4. Example:
Programs from tuner 1 and tuner 4 can be assigned to modulator 1 and programs from tuner 2 and 3 can be
assigned to modulator 3, etc.

The tuners are

configured with the

Tuner 1-4 buttons.
