1. Product description
The SKQ 40-00 / 80-00 module is an HD compatible remux / cross multiplex QAM modulator that
transmodulates 8PSK/QPSK modulated SAT IF signals into QAM multiplexes.
The quattro modules contain four and the octo module contains eight fully independent input tuners. The SAT
IF signal is routed to the DVB-S/ -S2 input tuner, where a transponder is selected whose QPSK or 8PSK is
demodulated and a parallel data stream is generated.
These signals are then routed to the QAM modulator. The QAM output signals are forwarded to an HF output
via four modulators. The processed input signals are routed to the output collection field of the basic units via
the HF output socket. The output channel can be freely selected within the 114...1006 MHz range. The output
channels are compulsory assigned to adjacent channels.
Programming the SKQ 40-00 / 80-00 is executed via the password-protected web interface.

Note
The power supply unit is not included in the scope of delivery of the SKQ 40-00 / 80-00. It is available
separately or is integrated in the headend base unit of the SKS x-0x.
