8 way splitter

Your installation has a 8 input DiSEqC switch, each

connected to an antenna oriented to different satellites.
It works the same as the 2 inputs.

Motor

Your facility has a motor to move the antenna and point it

automatically to the selected satellite*.

Select the first position for the motor in the “Motor

Position Index”. It has 255 positions that can record up

to 255 different satellite positions (each satellite has a

different orbital position).

Then assign a satellite to this position.

By pressing the red or green keys move the antenna,

either East or West until you find the desired satellite.

The level bars will help you find the satellite position.

Press TXT to memorize this position.

Select the second position and perform the same

process above. Repeat these steps for each satellite.

The level bars will tell you if you have the satellite signal

and what is the strength and quality for each TV channel.

By pressing the yellow key is shown the LNB Setup

submenu, where you can modify the offset of the LNB

(+1 V).

By pressing the blue key displays the submenu where

you can select Advanced Settings values “ Auto”,1, 2, 3, 4

and 5 for the “Repeat DiSEqC” option.

This menu shows more options for Motor:
After setting all positions of the satellites, it must be set

limits that restrict the movement of the antenna at each

end of the arc (East - West).

Move the antenna towards the West, beyond the last

position saved by pressing the red key.

Set this position as “West Limit” by pressing the yellow

key. Then, move the antenna to the East, beyond the

last position saved by pressing the green key. Set this

position as “East limit” by pressing the blue key.

Press TXT to erase the limits marked.

Press to recalculate all positions from the new limits.

If no limits are set for East and West, there would

be a risk of damaging motor components or the

antenna itself.

* T he path followed by the antenna, determined by the

movement of the motor must be set to the arc of satellites.
