Ethernet Communication
An Ethernet port enables the IDP-800 to be polled over a LAN/Distributed Control System and provide
values of system parameters monitored by the DECS-200, DECS-200N, DECS-250, or DECS-250N. The
IDP-800’s 10 Base-T Ethernet interface connects to a LAN through a standard RJ-45 modular jack. This
jack is located on the bottom of the display and is shown in Figure 63.
