3. Verify that both pulleys are aligned properly using a straight edge. The straight edge must be
no more than 1/16” from pulley edge.

Install counter weights
1. Apply loctite to threads of FHSCS and inside the counter weight hole (where the FHSCS will
be tightened into).

4 Pulley and crank shaft assembly
5 Top edge of counter weight needs
to be perpendicular to slot on
crank shaft
2. Attach both counter weights to new pulley and crank shaft assembly and attach FHSCS. Top
edge of counter weight needs to be perpendicular to slot on crank shaft.
3. Securely tighten the two FHSCS using a 7/32” Allen wrench. FHSCS to be torqued to
250 lbs-in.
Install crank shaft assembly
The new bearings have been pre-assembled on the new crank shaft assembly and are not
adjustable.
