Montage/Timing

The

TIMING

selection applies to all of the recursive modes and is discussed

near the end of this section on

page 7-36

.

Trails/Strobe

The

TRAILS

selection allows you to leave a trail of old images behind as you

fly an image around the screen. The

STROBE

selection turns the trail on and

off at regular intervals.

To access the Trails/Strobe selections shown below, press the

RECURSIVE

MODE

soft button to select

TRAILS

, and press the

MODIFY

soft button to select

STROBE

.

LOOP

ON

starts the recursive effect.

OFF

stops the recursive effect and

returns to live video.

KEYFRAME RESET

ON

resets the loop and starts the effect over again at each

keyframe where Keyframe Reset is on.

OFF

does not change the image at

each keyframe.

STROBE TYPE

— sets type of strobe that will cause automatic capture of new

images or disables automatic capture. The selections and adjustments
below control the strobe cycle.

NONE

— turns strobe off.

TIME

— captures a new image at an adjustable time interval.

KEYFRAME

— captures a new image at each keyframe.

When

TIME

is selected, the following soft knobs appear:

PERIOD

— makes the strobe cycle shorter or longer (shown in frames).
