Physical Description
In this example the Krystal system is configured to allow four users to use
any of the eight Krystal channels, and for each user to combine any four of
these channels from their suite location. Each suite uses the auxiliary
busses on the switchers as input source selectors. These outputs are con-
nected to a routing system, which permits the operator to manually select
which aux bus output goes to which Krystal channel. This makes any
Krystal channel in the facility instantly available for use by any operator,
with full Krystal system control of switcher crosspoint selection.
Integrated Model 2200-2i Switcher
The Model 2200-2i Switcher from Tektronix/Grass Valley Products is a
component digital switcher that supports integrated 1 or 2 channel Krystal
DPM operation. Incorporated into the Switcher control panel are Krystal
controls allowing the creation, running, and editing of digital effects from
the Switcher panel, without the need for a stand-alone Krystal Control
Panel.
