Section 5 — File Operations/Macro Menus

Delete

The delete function removes keyframe data from a channel in the current
effect. No message will be displayed indicating data will be lost.

To delete channel data, use the same procedure as the copy function except
select the DELETE operation. The left channel selection scroll pane will
indicate “From:” and the right selection scroll pane does not appear. If you
use SELECTED Affected Timelines for a delete operation, only the selected
timelines on that channel will be deleted.

Move

The move function moves keyframe data from one channel to another in
the current effect.

Timeline data will be lost from the channel that data is being moved to if
ALL is chosen. Timeline data will also be lost if SELECTED is chosen and
the incoming data includes timelines present in the channel the data is
being moved to.

To move channel data, use the same procedure as the copy function except
select the MOVE operation. Note that any selected function timelines on
the “To:” channel are ignored. If there are no selected function timelines in
the “From:” channel no action will be performed and a message is dis-
played.

When a move channel operation is executed, the timelines involved in the
action are deleted from the “To:” channel, the timelines in the “From:”
channel are copied to the “To:” channel, and then the original timelines in
the “From:” channel are deleted.
