Available Storage Space

The Content Manager Service will continually check the remaining disk
space available on each of the channel hard disk drives and will then report
the remaining disk space in the DiskInfo.xml file. The disk space will be
reported in Kilobytes. The format of the DiskInfo.xml file in the Complete
folder is defined as follows:

Note

The ata2 Maestro disk is used to store Animation content files. The ata0
Maestro disk is used to store all other Channel Branding content files.

Deleting Content

If a file is removed from the Pending folder, the file will be deleted from the
drive as well as from the Complete folder. A message confirming the dele-
tion will then appear in the Process Status column.

Follow these steps to delete content:

1.

Select a channel in the Maestro Content Management Center (MCMC).
In this example Channel 1 will be used.
