The Maestro Configuration
Editor
This section describes the Maestro Configuration Editor application. The
interface of the application has a panel on the left-hand side. The steps in
this panel should be followed in descending order. That is, step 1, and then
step 2 and so forth.
Modification of certain configuration tables requires pressing the
Clear
NVRAM
button.
CAUTION Pressing the Clear NVRam button will interrupt the audio and video signals
passing through the system.
This requirement applies to the following tables:
•
RCS Configuration Server table
•
Level table
•
Audio Output table
•
Audio Input table
•
Input table
•
Interconnection table
•
Background Buttons
•
Key Fill Association table
•
Wipe Transitions table (only if a wipe is active)
•
DVE Configuration table (only if a DVE effect is active)
•
Channel Setup table
To minimize the impact to the system, the following rules are suggested:
1.
Before downloading a modified Wipe Transitions or DVE
Configuration table, make sure that no wipe or DVE effects are active
(i.e., selected on the control panel).
2.
After modifying any of the other tables listed above:

Bypass the Maestro System.
