Viewing Salvos

4 Click

Browse

and browse to the location where you have previously saved the file.

5 Select the file and click

Open

. The saved information in the file displays in the ‘Salvo’ section

of the ‘Connections’ window.

6 Click

Execute

to send the changes to the control cards.

Viewing Salvos

Salvos do not automatically display. The ‘Salvo’ section must be activated for viewing on the ‘Con-
nections’ window to see salvo switching information.

How to View a Salvo

1 Launch UniConfig. (See

Launching UniConfig

on page 9.)

2 From the menu bar, select ‘Window > Connections’. The ‘Connections’ window appears dis-

playing current input and output settings, as shown in Figure 17-3. The ‘Connections’ window
must be open to activate the needed menu option.

3 Again, from the menu bar, select ‘Tools > Options. The ‘Connections Options’ dialog box

appears, as shown in Figure 17-2:

a Select the ‘Salvo’ tab.

b Check the ‘Show Salvo Window’ check box.

4 Click

OK

to save your changes and close the dialog box.

Saving a Salvo

Once a salvo is created, it can be saved in multiple locations, with multiple names or with its origi-
nal name to its original location.

How to Save a Salvo

1 Launch UniConfig. (See

Launching UniConfig

on page 9.)

2 From the menu bar, select ‘Window > Connections’. The ‘Connections’ window appears dis-

playing current input and output settings, as shown in Figure 17-3. The ‘Connections’ window
must be open to activate the needed menu option.

3 Create a new salvo or open an existing salvo. (See

Creating a Salvo

on page 145 and

Opening

and Uploading a Salvo

on page 148.)

4 Save the salvo with the existing name or create a new salvo name:

From the menu bar, select ‘File > Save Salvo As’. The ‘Save Opened Salvo’ window appears.
In the window, enter a ‘File Name’ and ‘Location’ in the fields provided (or browse to the file
location) and click

OK

.

Or
From the menu bar, select ‘File > Save Opened Salvo’. The current salvo is saved to its original
location using the current file name.
