CABLES USED FOR THE TEST

If the cables are changed or extended be sure and
recalibrate the instrument. During a continuity
test, if the resistance value free of calibration (that
is the resistance value less the calibration offset

value) is negative, the symbols

ν

as well as

blinking CAL are displayed (refer to 5

th

screen

paragraph 4.1.3).

WARNING

Never disconnect the test leads while the word “Measuring” is being
displayed.

Measuring

To cancel the calibration parameters (and
the symbol CAL) it is necessary to perform a
calibration procedure with a resistance
greater than 5

Ω (for example with the test

leads disconnected). When a cancellation is
completed this screen is displayed first,
followed by the screen below:

Message >5

means that the
instrument
detected a
resistance greater
than 5

Ω therefore

it will proceed
with Reset
procedure.

The screen alongside is displayed for 2
seconds
, after which the instrument emits a
long beep
and then displays the default
