Uploading Converted Files

After you have converted your files as described in the
previous sections, you can upload them to your camera.

If you are connecting via USB, make sure the camera is
turned on and connected to your computer, and the
camera dial is turned to

.

If you’re transferring files from your memory card, insert
the card into the card reader or insert the PC card
adapter into the PC card slot.

In Windows, double-click

My Computer

. You see a

drive icon for your camera or card. Double-click the
drive icon.

On a Macintosh, you see the

EPSON_DSC

drive icon

on your desktop. Double-click the drive icon.

You see two or more folders. Double-click the

DCIM

folder, then double-click the

100Epson

folder.

Open the folder on your computer where your converted
files are stored and drag them to the

100Epson

folder.

(To select multiple files, hold down the

Shift

key or the

Ctrl

key.)

CAUTION

If you delete any files in the 100Epson folder, they are

deleted from the camera’s memory card.

In Windows, turn off the camera and disconnect it from
your computer or remove the card.

On a Macintosh, drag the icon for the camera or card to
the Trash. Turn off your camera and disconnect it or
remove the card.

NOTE

If your camera’s CompactFlash memory card can’t hold all the

images you’d like to upload, you can purchase a higher density

card. See Appendix B for details.
