About Power Supply

Turning the Power On

Once everything is properly connected (p. 11, p. 19), be sure to follow the procedure below to turn on their power. If you turn on
equipment in the wrong order, you risk causing malfunction or equipment failure.

* This unit is equipped with a protection circuit. A brief interval (a few seconds) after power up is required before the unit will operate normally.

* When still images are saved to the internal memory, booting of this unit will take longer because of preparations.

1.

Connect the peripheral devices.

Connect video cameras or other equipment. Make the connections while the power to all equipment, including the V-800HD, is
turned off.

2.

Turn on the power to the V-800HD.

Set the POWER switch on the rear panel to ON to turn on the power to the V-800HD.

Turn on the power to the source devices.

Turn on the power to the source devices like video cameras connected to the V-800HD.

4.

Turn on the power to the output devices

Turn on the power to the output devices like projectors connected to the V-800HD.

Turning the Power Off

1.

Turn off the power to the output devices.

Turn off the power to the output devices connected to the V-800HD.

2.

Turn off the power to the V-800HD.

Set the POWER switch on the rear panel to OFF to turn off the power to the V-800HD.

Turn off the power to the source devices.

Turn off the power to the source devices connected to the V-800HD.

Do not turn off the power while a message of “Processing...“ is shown on menu display area of the multi-view monitor. Your settings may not be

saved properly.

If you need to turn off the power completely, first turn off the unit, then unplug the power cord from the power outlet. Refer to Power Supply (p. 5).
