Saving/Recalling Settings (Preset Memory)

You can take the current settings, including video and audio

settings and the state of the operation panel, and save them as a

single set in memory, for later recall and use when needed. The XS-62S

is provided with eight preset memories.

About the last memory function

The XS-62S has a built-in Last Memory feature. Last

Memory is a feature that saves the state of the unit

that is in effect immediately before power-down, and

automatically restores the state at the next startup.
The Last Memory feature is enabled by default. When you

want to call up a specified preset memory at startup, use

the [MENU] button

to specify the memory number.

Saving to a preset memory

NOTE

When you have selected the [MENU] button

choose the save-destination preset

number (MEMORY1–MEMORY8), and then press

the [VALUE] knob.

A confirmation message appears.
If you want to cancel the operation, press the [EXIT] button.

Use the [VALUE] knob to select “YES,” then press the

[VALUE] knob.

The current settings are saved as a preset.

3.

Press the [MENU] button to quit the menu.

The state of the [PHONES] knob is not saved to any preset

memory.

The following settings are saved as common settings for the

entire XS-62S (they are not saved in a preset memory).

always set to “OFF” at startup.

Recalling settings

This calls up a saved preset.
When recalling a preset, by pre-specifying the setting values to

call up, you can recall just some settings without having to call up

all stored settings.

NOTE

If changes are made in the video input connectors or the

output format in the preset after recalling, output video

might become corrupted.

1.

Press the [SW MODE] button to make it light up in

blue.

Lit blue

The Cross-point buttons (upper row) function as memory

selection buttons.
The cross-point selection buttons for numbers where presets are

saved light up in blue.

2.

Press the cross-point select button of the preset

number whose settings you want to recall.

The settings are recalled. The cross-point select button that was

recalled is lit light blue.

Deleting a preset memory

1.

Select the [MENU] button

Use the [VALUE] knob to select the memory

number (1 through 8) that you want to delete, then

press the [VALUE] knob.

A confirmation message appears.
If you want to cancel the operation, press the [EXIT] button.

Use the [VALUE] knob to select “YES,” then press the

[VALUE] knob.

The preset memory is deleted.

4.

Press the [MENU] button to quit the menu.
