1.3 Safety Information


Before attempting to operate your unit, read the instructions in this manual thoroughly.

Your fryer is equipped with two automatic safety features:

High temperature detection shuts off gas to the burner assembly should the controlling
thermostat fail.

A safety switch built into the drain valve of units with built-in filtration systems prevents
burner ignition with the drain valve even partially open.

Throughout this manual, you will find notations enclosed in double-bordered boxes similar to the
ones below.
