DHCP exclude range settings

The range cannot exceed 65536 IP addresses.

To add an exclusion range

Go to System > DHCP > Exclude Range.

Select Create New.

Add the starting IP and ending IP.

Select OK to save the exclusion range.

IP/MAC binding

If you have added DHCP servers, you can use DHCP IP/MAC binding to reserve an
IP address for a particular device on the network according to the MAC address of the
device. When you add the MAC address and an IP address to the IP/MAC binding list,
the DHCP server always assigns this IP address to the MAC address. IP/MAC binding
pairs apply to all FortiGate DHCP servers.

Starting IP

Enter the starting IP of an exclude range.

Ending IP

Enter the ending IP of an exclude range.

Create New

Select Create New to add a DHCP IP/MAC binding pair.

Name

The name for the IP and MAC address pair.

IP Address

The IP address for the IP and MAC address pair. The IP address must be

within the configured IP range.

MAC Address The MAC address of the device.

Delete icon. Delete an IP/MAC binding pair.
Edit/View icon. View or modify an IP/MAC binding pair.
