The following provides information on most printing problems you
might encounter. If the advice provided here does not solve your
problem, contact your Technical Representative.
Symptom Cause Action
No Printing The printer is off-line. Press the On Line key
to take the printer on-
line.
The interface cable is
not securely connected
to the printer and com-
puter or defective. Reconnect the inter-
face cable or replace
the interface cable.
You are not using the
printer driver for Page-
Works 20. Change the default
printer setting to the
PageWorks 20.
The printer port set-
ting is incorrect. Change the setting.
There is no paper in the
specified paper source. Load paper in the spec-
ified paper source.
There is a paper mis-
feed. Remove the misfed
paper.

or 5-7.
You are selecting Man-
ual Feed. Load the selected paper
size in the multipur-
pose tray and press the
On Line key to print.
The printer may need
service. Contact your technical
representative.
