The following provides information on most print quality problems
you might encounter. If the advice provided here does not solve
your problem, contact your Technical Representative.
Symptom Cause Action
Blank pages The toner sealing
tape has not been
pulled out. Remove the imag-
ing cartridge and
pull out the toner
sealing tape.
The imaging car-
tridge may be
defective. Replace the imag-
ing cartridge if nec-
essary.
Black pages The imaging car-
tridge may be
defective. Replace the imag-
ing cartridge if nec-
essary.
Print out too light The toner density
setting made with
the Device Option
dialog box may be
too light. Change the setting.
The imaging car-
tridge may be run-
ning out of toner. Remove the imag-
ing cartridge and
shake it several
times.
Replace the imag-
ing cartridge if nec-
essary.
