Slide
1 Place the paper in the inserter (optional) and align
the slides to its size.
- Place paper in face up.
- For paper with a different top and bottom, place it in the
same direction as that of original.
- Place the papers so that it does not extend beyond the line
of indication shown on the slides.
6. INSERTER MODE (OPTIONAL)
When you want to insert papers or use the staple or the hole punch functions without making copies,
place the paper of the same size and direction in the optional inserter.
- If the sheets of paper are fed from more than one paper source ( Drawer, External LCF, Bypass
guide, Inserter), set them all in the same size and direction.
Paper Acceptable to Set in the Inseter
LD, LG, LT, LT-R, COMP, A3, A4, A4-R, B4, B5, FOLIO Paper size
Plain paper (16 lb. Bond - 20 lb. Bond), Thick paper (more than 20 lb. Bond- 140 lb. Index),
Recycled paper, Special paper (OHP film, Color paper, Hole punch paper, etc.)
(Ask your authorized Sharp dealer for the details of acceptable special papers.) Paper type
Maximum
capacity 16 lb. Bond - 20 lb. Bond : 100 sheets
more than 20 lb.Bond - 140 lb. Index : Loading height 0.63" or less
(Special paper 0.275" or less)
* The above paper may not be acceptable due to paper quality, etc.
* When the paper set in the inserter is used for the staple or the saddle stitch, it is specified respectively.
