Solving Printer Problems
Courier Courier font is selected.
Draft (Normal) Normal Draft font is selected in Epson Emulation mode.
Draft (Fast) FastDraft font is selected in Epson Emulation mode.
XXCPI XX pitch is selected.
PS Proportional Spacing is selected.
Return to TOF
Press Start The perforation is at the tear-off position. Tear off the paper,
then press Start/Stop. The paper retracts to the TOF position.
Auto Tear Off The perforations automatically move to the tear off position.
Press Start The printer is waiting for you to press Start/Stop.
Printing... The printer is printing a demo or adjustment pattern.
Press Font/Pitch Press Font or Pitch.
Press Store Press Store to save your selection.
Press Tear Off The printer is waiting for you to press Tear Off.
Press Load Press Load/Unload to load or unload paper or to park
continuous forms.
Invalid Pitch The pitch setting conflicts with the selected pitch.
Operator Panel
Disable The operator panel is disabled. To enable the operator panel,
see “Disabling/Enabling the Operator Panel” on page 53.
Paper Load Error The printer paper is incorrectly loaded. Remove the paper
and reload it. For help, see “Selecting and Loading Paper” on
page 55.
Feed Lever Error The paper select lever is in the incorrect position.
