Chapter 14. Settings

COPY A SOUND FROM YOUR PC TO YOUR PHONE

After a sound file is located on your phone, you can use it for a ring tone.
Sound files in .wav, .mid, mp3 or .wma formats can be used.

Connect the phone to your PC using a USB connection.

On your PC, copy the sound file you want.

In ActiveSync on your PC, click Explorer and double-click My

Windows Mobile-Based Device.

Do one of the following:

To save the sound file on your phone, double-click Application

Data, double-click Sounds, and paste the file into Sounds folder.

To save the sound file on your storage card, double-click Storage

Card, and paste the file into the folder you want.

NOTE

During playing the music the file can not be set as ring tone. You cannot set

as a ringtone if the file is larger then 300 Kb as a ringtone.
