Chapter 14. Settings

WIRELESS MANAGER

You can turn the power off to your wireless connections in a single
location. This is a quick way to preserve battery power or to prepare your
device for an airplane flight.

On the home screen, press

Start > All Programs > More >

Settings > Connections.

Press

Wireless Manager.

Do the following:

Press the button for a desired wireless connection type (such

as Bluetooth or Phone) to turn it off or on. If it is already turned off,
the button is a lighter color and displays an icon marked
with an X.

NOTE

To change settings for one of the displayed wireless connection types, press

[Menu] and press the type of settings you want to change.

TIP

If you connect wireless LAN card to microSD slot, you can use WI-FI.

CREATE A DIAL-UP CONNECTION

Every network connection is different. You should gather all of the
relevant information or network settings you need before starting this
process.

On the home screen, press

Start > All Programs > More >

Settings > Connections.

Dial-up.

Press

Menu > Add. Enter the following information:

Description: Enter a name for the connection.

Connects to: Select the network.

Phone number: Enter the phone number to be used to dial the

network.
