[4] Set In-Band Interface IP Address

This option prompts you to change or enter the module’s in-band IP address, subnet
mask, and default gateway for the in-band interface. If an IP address was previously
configured, the screen displays an in-band IP address. The factory default setting is no
in-band address.

You do not need to configure the module with a subnet mask for SNMP
communications with management stations located on the same subnet as the module.

The following example shows the dialog associated with this option:

NOTE

If Routing is enabled, you will be asked to supply an IFC number prior to entering an
IP address.
