During a call, press

to switch between speakerphone and normal

handset use.

Volume control

During a call, press

/Vol or /Vol to adjust the listening volume.

If this is a cell call and the volume is too loud or quiet, try changing the

volume on your cell phone. On some cell phones, changing the volume on

the cell phone effects your cell call volume on the

DS6321/6322 handset.

Silence the ringer

When the telephone is ringing, you can temporarily silence the ringer of the

handset without disconnecting the call. The next call rings normally at the

preset volume.
To silence the ringer:

Press

oFF/

CleAR

or

MuTe/

ReMoVe

on the handset and

Ringer mute appears.

Mute

The mute function turns off the microphone. You can hear the caller, but the

caller cannot hear you.
To mute a call:

Press

MuTe/

ReMoVe

to turn off the microphone. The screen shows

Muted for a few seconds and MuTe appears until the mute function is

turned off.

To un-mute a call:

Press

MuTe/

ReMoVe

again to resume the conversation. The screen

temporarily shows

Microphone oN.

Temporary tone dialing

If you have pulse (rotary) service only, you can switch from pulse to touch

tone dialing temporarily during a call. This is useful if you need to send touch

tone signals to access your telephone banking or long distance services.
During a call:

Press

ToNe .

Use the dialing keys to enter the relevant number. The telephone sends

touch tone signals.
The telephone automatically returns to pulse dialing mode after you end

the call.
