If You Don’t Have a CD-ROM Drive
All software is supplied on CD-ROM. If you need a Floppy Disk
version (only Multi-Function Link
® Pro and Visioneer PaperPort ®
LE are available on Floppy Disks, item numbers DSK7031 (for
Windows
® 3.1x) and DSK7095 (for Windows ® 95/98).
If you are using Windows NT ® Workstation Version 4.0, the
software is not available on Floppy Disks). You must tell the
Brother Representative the version of Windows
® that you are
using and your MFC model number. To order, call Brother at

Windows NT ® Workstation 4.0 software and drivers will be
available in the late Spring of 1999.
Computer Requirements
The following are the minimum computer requirements you need
to set up and operate the MFC as a printer. Use only a shielded
interface cable that is IEEE-1284 compliant, and that is less than 6
feet (1.8 meters) long.
CPU Pentium 75 or Higher
RAM 16MB or greater for Windows ® 3.1x
16MB or greater for Windows ® 95/98
16MB or greater for Windows NT ® Workstation
Version 4.0 (32MB recommended)
