DT4X2 General Description
MD Evolution – Cordless DT412 / DT422 / DT432 24
Display icons
Call / Off hook
Appears when your phone is off hook.
Audio signal off
Shown when all alert signals, including ring signal, message tone,
key beep etc. are turned off. High priority messages will however
override this setting. See section “ DT4X2 Adjustments ” on
page 125.
Battery
Always shown in the display in idle mode. When the level is low it is
time to charge the battery. See section “ Installation ” on page 145.
Loud speaking (handsfree)
Shown when the loudspeaker is activated and the phone is in Loud
speaking operation (handsfree). See section “ During Calls ” on
page 49.
New Message
Appears when a new message is received. The number of the right
side of the icon Indicates the total number of unread messages.
The symbol will remain until the message is marked as read. See
section “ Voice Mailbox Messages Internal Notification ” on page 77.
Not answered call
Added to not answered calls in the call list. The number on the right
side of the icon shows the total number of missed calls.
Key
Indicates that your keypad is locked. See section “ DT4X2
Adjustments ” on page 125.
Padlock
Indicates that the phone has been locked, and has to be unlocked
with a code before it can be used. See section “ Phone Lock ” on
page 108.
Headset
Indicates that a headset is connected to the phone. See section
“ Headset ” on page 152.
Note: A headset can only be connected if the optional
headset connector is available.
No-movement alarm on (only DT422 and DT432)
Indicates that the No-movement alarm is activated. See section
“ Alarm ” on page 116.
