SMS Text Messages
SMS Text Messages
You can send and receive messages, also known as SMS (Short
Message Service), to and from other phones in your system.
Note: Text messages can only be received and sent if the
Aastra Integrated Messaging Server is installed in your
system. Please contact your system administrator.
SMS Receiving
The message is stored in the message list. The “New message”
icon is shown in the display. The icon will remain in the display until
all new messages are opened.
SMS Sending ç
Press the Menu key.
The last used tab is marked. à

Select the Messages tab

Press to enter into Messages menu and to select Send SMS .
Ok Press to confirm (see display).
The screen displays
SMS addresse
Back Press if you want to come back to Messages Menu (see
display).
Press to select Phone Book (see display).

Dial the SMS addresse.
