Wiha Inomic

®

.

Pliers – reinvented.

The relaxed hold when using Inomic

®

ensures fatigue-free work.

The Inomic

®

pliers are angled

at 23° to support the physiological
movement of the wrist when working
and thus prevent an unhealthy wrist
position, which often leads to problems
such as carpal tunnel syndrome.

In collaboration with the IAO Stuttgart (In-
stitute for Industrial Engineering), a wide
variety of shapes and variants for this new
generation of pliers was investigated du-
ring the course of extensive studies and
user tests. Gripping system, hand closure
forces, jaw shapes and geometries are just
a few of the points examined.

Head of pliers made of
high quality tool steel,
cutting edges additionally
induction hardened

Locking mechanism:
Pliers should be transported
and stored in closed position

Handle with ergonomic soft-grip zone
made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE)
in the pressure area around the ball of
the thumb

Impact-resistant tool body made
of fibre-glass reinforced plastic:
Low weight

The areas in the arm of
the pliers that move and
press against each other
feature hard plastic:
low abrasion

Metal parts with all-round,
corrosion resistant surface

Innovative technology and as
ergonomic as nature:
descriptions that fit Wiha Inomic

®

pliers perfectly.

Firstly as an extension of the hand:
firm and secure when gripping,
and with a natural movement that
is easy on the joints. And then
progressive know-how: with high
quality materials that feel soft but
are relentless with components
being worked upon.

Pliers have been around for ages.
But never with so many ideas and
intelligent details as the Wiha
Inomic

®

pliers.
