Commissioning / Getting the instrument ready for
measuring

Note
For the sensor to polarize, the following conditions must be fulfilled:

 The sensor is connected with the IQ S

system via the

SACIQ (SW) sensor connection cable.

system is in operation

 The sensor has been identified by the IQ S

in the IQ S

ENSOR

software.

Precision

measurements

Recommendation: In order to carry out precision measurements, leave
the sensor to polarize for a longer period of time, e.g. overnight, and
recalibrate it the following day.

Pull the protective cap off the protective hood of the sensor.

Leave the sensor to lie in the air for at least 60 minutes while it
is switched on (polarization).

If required, assign a user-defined name to the sensor (see
relevant IQ S

ENSOR

N

ET

system operating manual).

Set the sensor (see section 3.4).

Calibrate the sensor (see section 4.2 C

).
