– Air bubble in front of the junction – Remove air bubble
– Electrode defective – Replace electrode
Cause Remedy
Erroneous calibration
The data of the electrode are outside
the specified characteristics. – Recalibrate
– Reset to default setting (see
section 4.9)
Electrode:
– Junction contaminated – Clean junction
– Membrane contaminated – Clean membrane
– Moisture in the plug – Dry plug
– Electrode obsolete – Replace electrode
– Electrode broken – Replace electrode
Meter:
– Incorrect buffer set – Select correct buffer set
– Incorrect solution temperature
(without temperature sensor)
– Set the correct temperature
– Socket damp – Dry socket
Buffer solutions:
– Incorrect buffer set – Use a suitable buffer set
– Buffer solutions too old – Use only once.
