Connecting an XT conveyor module, side mounted motor in line with
another XT conveyor
Introduction
Use connecting kit 5049594, which connects a side
mounted end drive unit (L and R), to an idler end unit. CAUTION! Fit one connecting plate at a time to
ensure the unit remains intact, never loosen screws
for more than one connecting plate at a time.
Tools
Instruction
Allen key 5 mm
Box wrench 13 mm
1 Make sure that the conveyors are on the same
level and in line with each other.
Loosen the screw for the torque arm. Use the 13
mm box wrench. Lower the motor.
2 Loosen the screws (3 x M8) on the side plates.
Use the 5 mm allen key.
CAUTION! Fit one connecting plate at a time to
ensure the unit remains intact, never loosen
screws for more than one connecting plate at a
time.
