Both template and manual commands appear on the status bar as the 
system processes the command. Errors also appear in the message 
log.
The Diagnostics tab should turn red if the system encounters an error. 
The message log on the Diagnostics tab should indicate where the 
error occurred.

in the status bar.

Idle
This term appears when the 
instrument is ready and waiting 
for a command from you.
Standby
This term indicates that the 
analyzer is ready and waiting for 
a command to perform.
Yellow
Connecting
This term appears when the 
software attempts to connect to 
the instrument.
Processing
This term appears when the 
instrument communicates with 
the software as it processes 
commands.
Pausing
This term appears when the 
software asks the instrument to 
stop processing the list of 
commands and the instrument 
finishes up the active command.
