Installation
This chapter describes how to install the D8 series controller
and its peripherals. Installation of the controller involves the
following procedures:
•
Determining the best location for the controller
• Mounting the controller and TB50
• Power connection
• Input wiring
• Communications wiring
• Output wiring
WARNING! Risk of electric shock. Shut off power to your
entire process before you begin installing
the controller.
WARNING! The controller may fail in a 0 percent or 100
percent power output state. To prevent
death, personal injury, equipment damage or
property damage, install external safety shut-
down devices that operate independently
from the process control equipment.
