Display Messages

The control panel display can show messages of up to four lines of 20
characters each.

Power-On-Self-Test Screen

When power is first applied to the tape drive, a series of power-on self-test
(POST) diagnostics is performed. During POST execution, the model number of
the tape drive, the current date and time, the firmware revision, and the status or
result of the test in progress appear on the control panel.

first message that appears on the control panel.
