Cables
1. Complete Table 5–5 to shut down the UltraSCSI subsystem.
2. Use a screwdriver to loosen the two spring-loaded mounting screws
on the I/O module.
3. Grasp the I/O module by
the cable support bracket
and pull it straight
outward until removed
from the enclosure
shroud.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for all the I/O modules within the three
enclosures.
5. On the master enclosure
I/O module, align the
Cable A (C
ALLOUT A)
connector with the left
connector. Gently insert
the cable connector into
the module connector.
Tighten both cable
connector thumb screws
to fully seat the
connector.
6. Install a wire tie through the holes on the cable support bracket and
around the cable. Tighten the wire tie.
